Business trip to South Africa with Club Atlético River Plate

Updated: Mar 14

In July, we had the pleasure of introducing Adrian varela, Head of International Relations (Europe, Asia & Africa) of Club Atlético River Plate to 5 football clubs in South Africa.

During the trip, one of our co-founders, Brendon Fourie, accompanied Adrian in visits to Mamelodi Sundowns FC, Orlando Pirates FC, Stellenboshc FC, SuperSport United FC and Cape Town City FC (as well as some local sports institutions).

The objective of the visits were:

  • Discussing potential opportunities for the organization of youth campuses and educational sessions for local coaches and executives;

  • Arrangement of partnership agreements between clubs to facilitate the development of local academies; and

  • Exchange of players.

This trip is part of a series of short-/mid-term initiatives prepared by 4NFC, as a partner of the Argentinian champions, to contribute to the international development and brand expansion of the club in different countries.
